My walk didn’t record my steps or distance, what should I do?

This usually means MOVE doesn’t have permission to read your health and motion data. Here’s the quickest way to sort it out:

  1. Check that MOVE has access to Apple Health and Motion & Fitness (iPhone), or Health Connect (Android), in your phone’s Settings.

  2. Make sure you’re on the latest version of the MOVE app.

  3. If it’s still not recording, try reinstalling the app and allowing the permission prompts when they appear.
